Holocaust Studies Graduate Certificate

The Political Science Department offers a graduate certificate for Holocaust Studies.  The graduate certificate is not exclusive to the Political Science Master's students but designed to be interdisciplinary and to meet the needs of educators in Texas who offer curriculum components on the Holocaust and other genocides.

Graduates students who want to earn this certificate must have admission to the Graduate School and take 12 out of 15 semester hours of courses developed for this certificate.  Contact Dr. Jeffrey Herndon at 903/886-5312 or Jeffrey.Herndon@tamuc.edu for more information.

Requirements to complete the Holocaust Studies Graduate Certificate (12 semester hours)

Requirement to complete graduate certificate program.
12 semester hours from the following (No Substitutions)
PSCI 514GLB/Ideology of Third Reich3
PSCI 515GLB/Select Topics Holocaust3
515 may be repeated when topics vary.
PSCI 516GLB/The Holocaust3
PSCI 522GLB/Holocaust and Genocide3
PSCI 523Holocaust Genocide Educ3
Total Hours12

Note: Coursework must be completed at Texas A&M University-Commerce with a 3.0 GPA on all courses used for this graduate certificate.  (No Substitutions)
