General Studies BGS

The Bachelor of General Studies provides maximum flexibility for students who wish to create an individualized path to a bachelor's degree utilizing previous coursework from diverse disciplines.  Students must complete at least 24 semester hours of upper-level coursework coupled with 12 semester hours of Applied Major courses.  Up to 84 semester hours of transfer credit (including WCEM and military credits) can be accepted.  The remaining coursework may be completed online in traditional 16-week semesters.

All required courses in the major and advanced electives must be completed with the grade of “C” or higher.
