Denotes courses that satisfy the Core Curriculum Requirements

$

Advanced MATH Courses to choose from include:  MATH 303 (Fall only), MATH 316, MATH 317, MATH 321 (Spring only), MATH 325 (Fall only), MATH 326 ((Spring only), MATH 332 (Spring only), MATH 341 (Fall only), MATH 342 (Spring only), MATH 426 (Spring only), & MATH 486 (even-numbered Falls only).

#

MATH 436, MATH 438, and MATH 440 are offered on a rotating basis

NOTE:

A grade of C or higher is required in a MATH pre-requisite course in order to move to the next MATH course that follows.

NOTE2:

To pursue a degree in MATH and complete all math courses in a timely manner, students should have completed Calculus II by the end of their first year.  Completing Calculus II quickly allows students to stay on track to take higher--level math courses in later semesters.  Thus, students should enter their first year with credit for MATH 1314 (College Algebra) and MATH 2312 (Pre-Calculus).  Students who do not have these credits are encouraged to take the Fall accelerated 1314/2312 combined courses during their first semester, and/or take summer courses in order to stay on this four-year schedule.
