Organizational Planning Graduate Certificate

Graduate Certificate in Organizational Planning

The Graduate Certificate in Organizational Planning is offered by the Technology Management Program in the Department of Engineering & Technology.  It is an academic certificate (rather than a certification or professional certificate) that affirms completion of a 12 semester-credit-hour (SCH) program of graduate-level courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce focusing on the concentrated area of strategic planning in organizations within the broader field of Technology Management.  The graduate certificate program is a means by which a professional in the field can highlight academic preparation undertaken in this particular focus area.

This Certificate is open to graduate students in any major or exclusive of a major declaration.  Technology Management (TMGT) Majors are encouraged to pursue this certificate in conjunction with their M.S. degree.  Students with undeclared majors seeking this certificate who complete the application process for the MS TMGT Degree and are accepted may apply TMGT 510 and TMGT 516 to their major core requirements and the other two courses to their elective requirements.  These courses are offered as part of the master's program's course rotation.  All required courses are fully on-line.

Application for this graduate certificate program must be made through ApplyTexas.   Please contact Dr. Jason Lee Davis, Jason.Davis@tamuc.edu, for more information.
