Minors in psychology are available for students in all other master’s programs. Students pursuing a minor in psychology must complete the following four courses (12 credit hours):
History & Systems of Psy (PSY 509, 3 s.h.)
GLB/Social/Cltural Bases Behav (PSY 527, 3 s.h.)
Developmental Psychology (PSY 545, 3 s.h.)
Intro to Human Cognition (PSY 620, 3 s.h.)
Once these courses have been completed, the student is required to take a comprehensive exam from the Department of Psychology, Counseling, & Special Education. The department can be contacted for further information on scheduling this exam.
